This family kept me on my toes!
When Carly reached out to me a couple months ago inquiring a family, maternity and newborn session, I was thrilled! Not only because I get to capture all of their special moments and documenting their children grow but because they were from out of town. It's a huge compliment as a photographer to have a client love your work so much they either travel to you or you travel to them. In Iowa you never know what type of weather you're going to get when you book a session so we had to play it by the week but we were able to get a Friday evening with great weather on our side. As we explored Arbor Lake located in Grinnell, an hour from West Des Moines we found ourselves laughing over goose poop and being weary of ticks.
